Fireplace and Mantel Decor
We wanted a statement piece for our Fireplace and Love the Spanish vibes since we live in La quinta CA. After so much research for the perfect fireplace tile we found our Cement tile at Zia Tile. This tile in Particular is a concrete tile which every piece is not made the same and is unique. In so that the stars and cross would not line up perfectly when installed. That is what makes this tile so beautiful. The color we went with is called Zeppelin and in my eyes is like a sage color, the price per SQFT was $16.25 and we had to cover about 25 SQFT.The shipping from the Website was so much Money, we saved money picking it up from the warehouse in LA. The grout we went with was bright white from Home depot. The shape of these tiles were different so we weren’t even sure how to use the spacers but we ended up making it work with the 1/16 in spacers.

We had a slimmer fireplace so to find a custom mantel was a bit challenging. The size we were looking for was 45 in wide and 7 in tall, Thank God we finally found a custom mantel on Etsy. The install was very easy as well to install, the only complaint is that we had to reinforce it with more screws and internal support. The Color of Mantel is called Weathered Oak, the size is 45x7x6, and style is called Contemporary/rustic.
